І. Вер-надського. Методологія дослідженняполягає в застосуванні історико-типо-логічного, історико-хронологічного,історико-системного методів. Зазна-чений методологічний підхід дозво-ляє визначити видовий склад доку-ментів І. П. Крип’якевича в архів-них фондах Національної бібліотекиУкраїни імені В. І. Вернадського та їх-ній інформаційний потенціал для ві-дображення наукової біографії вче-ного. Наукова новизна дослідженняполягає у введенні до наукового обігу архівних документів, що доповнюютьвідомості про життя, діяльність і твор-чість академіка І. П. Крип’якевича, атакож про родину вченого. Виснов-ки. У статті надано характеристикускладу та змісту розпорошених середрізних фондів документів академікаІ. П. Крип’якевича, які умовно систе-матизовані нами за тематично-видо-вим принципом у такі групи: науковіпраці вченого (статті та рецензії); ли-стування, зокрема листи І. П. Крип’я-кевича до керівника Постійної комі-сії для складання біографічного слов-ника діячів України М. М. Могилян-ського за 1927–1929 роки, а такожлисти до С. І. Маслова, П. М. Попова,М. Ю. Брайчевського та ін.; авто-біографічні документи й докумен-ти щодо діяльності вченого на посаді завідуючого відділом стародруків Біб-ліотеки Академії наук УРСР в 1947–1948 роках. Також визначено інфор-маційний потенціал документів науко-вого спадку вченого для дослідженняпитань становлення та розвитку низ-ки допоміжних історичних дисциплінй історії вивчення української науки.^UThe aim of the paper: representation of the composition and content of documents of the archival heritage of the scientist and organizer of science Ivan Petrovych Krypiakevych (1886–1967), which are part of various fonds of the Institute of Manuscript of the V. I. Vernadskyi National Library of Ukraine. The research methodology consists in the application of historical-typological, historical-chronological, historical-systemic methods. The specified methodological approach makesit possible to determine the type of documents of I. P. Krypiakevych in the archivefonds of the V. I. Vernadskyi National Library of Ukraine and their informational potential for displaying the scientific biography of the scientist. The scientific novelty of the study consists in the introduction into scientific circulation of archival documents that supplement information about the life, activity and work of Academician I. P. Krypiakevych, as well as about the scientist’s family. Conclusions. The article considers and provides a description of the composition and content of Academician I. P. Krypiakevych’s documents scattered among various fonds, which we conditionally systematized according to the thematic and species principle into the following groups: scientific works of the scientist (articles and reviews); correspondence, inparticular letters from I. P. Krypiakevych to the head of the Permanent Commissionfor Compiling a Biographical Dictionary of Ukrainian Figures M. M. Mohylianskyifor 1927–1929, as well as letters to S. I. Maslov, P. M. Popov, M. Yu. Braichevskyi,etc.; autobiographical documents and documents related to the activity of the scientistas the head of the department of old prints of the Library of the Academy of Sciencesof the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic in 1947–1948. The informational potential of the documents of the scientific heritage of the scientist for the formation and development of a number of auxiliary historical disciplines and the study of the history of Ukrainian science is also determined.
