Перетцом у контексті роботи Комісії давнього українського письменства Всеукраїнської академії наук та висвітлення лакун у співпраці вчених й діяльності Комісії. Методологія праці базується на застосуванні порівняльного, хронологічного, джерелознавчого, архівознавчого, біографічного, просопографічного методів дослідження. Наукова новизна роботи полягає в тому, що вперше до наукового обігу введено листування між секретарем Комісії давнього українського письменства Всеукраїнської академії наук О. Назаревським і головою Комісії В. Перетцом, що відклалося у фондах Інституту рукопису Національної бібліотеки України імені В. І. Вернадського. Аналіз епістолярних документів дав змогу висвітлити діяльність О. Назаревського на посаді секретаря Комісії давнього українського письменства та відобразити раніше не досліджені сторінки його співпраці з В. Перетцом у рамках роботи Комісії. Висновки. Представлене у статті листування є цінним джерелом з вивчення діяльності О. Назаревського на посаді секретаря Комісії давнього українського письменства Всеукраїнської академії наук, дає змогу висвітлити зусилля вченого з популяризації діяльності академічної установи, його нонконформістську поведінку щодо В. Перетца задля збереження Комісії під час згортання політики українізації та структурних перебудов у Всеукраїнській академії наук на початку 1930-х років. ^UThe purpose of the work is to analyze the correspondence between Oleksandr Nazarevskyi and Academician Volodymyr Peretts in the context of the work of the Commission of Ancient Ukrainian Writing of the All-Ukrainian Academy of Sciences and to highlight gaps in the cooperation of scientists and activities of the Commission. The methodology of the work is based on the application of comparative, chronological, source studies, archival studies, biographical, prosopographic research methods. The scientific novelty of the work lies in the fact that, for the first time, the correspondence the secretary of the Commission of Ancient Ukrainian Writing of the All-Ukrainian Academy of Sciences O. Nazarevskyi with the head of the Commission V. Peretts, was introduced into scientific circulation. The letters are stored in the fonds of the Institute of Manuscript of the V. I. Vernadskyi National Library of Ukraine. The analysis of epistolary documents made it possible to shed light on the activities of O. Nazarevskyi as the secretary of the Commission of Ancient Ukrainian Writing and to display previously unresearched pages of his collaboration with V. Peretts within the framework of the work of the Commission. Conclusions. The presented correspondence is a valuable source for studying the activities of the Ukrainian philologist, literary critic, archeographer and bibliographer O. Nazarevskyi as the secretary of the Commission of Ancient Ukrainian Writing of the All-Ukrainian Academy of Sciences and his cooperation with the head of the Commission V. Peretts. The epistolary documents contain information about O. Nazarevskyi's great contribution to the organization of work and development of the Commission of Ancient Ukrainian Writing. The analysis of the correspondence made it possible to reveal the important role of O. Nazarevskyi in preparing for publication the publications of the Commission of Ancient Ukrainian Writing, highlight the efforts of the scientist to popularize the activities of the academic institution, his non-conformist behavior in order to preserve the Commission during the curtailment of the policy of Ukrainization and structural changes in the All-Ukrainian Academy of Sciences on early 1930's.
