Abstract: The article deals with the codicological investigation of the 16 century non-staff notated singing manuscript books in the stock of the Insitute of Manuscripts of the V. I. Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine. The author carries out identification and atribution of the books using the methods of codicology, palaeography, musical palaeography and filigree studies. The specific features of the manuscripts are revealed, that lay in their structure, contents, notations and musical peculiarities. As a result of the comprehensive analysis the scientific description of the books is made. Cite: |
