Abstract: The article represents an attempt of the author at showing the potential of complex filigranological research of the Cyrillic old printed books of 2nd half of XVI – beginning of XVII cent. It is a promising source of new data on printing of books, ordering of work with their parts, paper purchase, use of high-quality and low-quality paper, recognition of editorial and paper variants, attribution and reattribution of the old printed books, distinction of the similar publications, detection of the insert sheets from other impressions, discerning of the mixed sheets of the same impression etc.
