Abstract: The author presents a bibliographic data base "Book and manuscript heritage of Ukraine" that was developed in the medium of the "IRBIS64" library automatisation system. It contains archeographical, codycological and bibliological articles, as well as articles on sourse studies, that deal with the structure and content of the manuscript and book collections preserved at the V. I. Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine. They are published in the same-name scientific journal issued by the Institute of Manuscripts of the VNLU. The structure, search capabilities and possible use of the data base are outlined.
