Abstract: The process of formation and development of Ukrainian bibliography in the All-Ukrainian Academy of Sciences and All-People’s Library of Ukraine was highlighted, the attempt of reconstruction of historiography devoted to the national bibliography was accomplished, the development of bio-bibliography researches of the 1918–1933 period was retraced; the composition and content of source data base of reported issue was determined.
