Donets O. The usage of T. H. Shevchenko image in Ukrainian Soviet posters (on the materials of Ukrainian Soviet posters gathering from the fonds of V. Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine)Abstract: The article deals with the embodiment of T. Shevchenko, a significant person in Ukrainian history and culture, in the Ukrainian poster art. The author systematizes posters featuring the poet image on their functional attachment, artistic and figurative embodiment and compositional resolution. She also gives the main types of the poet image transformation: from the direct portrait visualization to the creative interpretation of the artistic heritage.
