Lavrov V. I. Markevych and his works “From the cultural past of Crimea of the 19th century”Abstract: The publication presents the previously unknown articles of a scientist A. I. Markevich researching the cultural past of Crimea, in particular those dedicated to the personality of A. L. Berthier-Delagarde whose scientific and literary work was an important page in the peninsula history. The publication also includes the articles of A. I. Markevich concerning the Tauride National University establishment in Simfero- pol in 1918. The documents are held in the fund of A. E. Crymsky in the Manuscript Institute of V. I.
